GOVT. OF INDIA RECRUITMENT FOR THE POST OF CONSTABLE (COOK, WASHERMAN, BARBER, WATER CARRIER & SAFAI KARAMCHARI)

Applications are invited from Male Indian Citizens, for filling up of vacancies of above posts in Group-‘C’ Non-Gazetted, on temporary basis likely to be permanent in Indo Tibetan Border Police Force. The post has All India liability and selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India and even abroad. On appointment, the candidate shall be governed by the ITBPF Act and Rules.

3. Constable (Barber) – 41
4. Constable (Water carrier) – 86
5. Constable (Safai Karamchari) – 117

The last date of receipt of application is 30.04.2011 for all States except for Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of Jammu and Kashmir state, Lahaul and Spiti District and Pangi Sub Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, the Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands and the Union Territory of Lakshadweep for which last date is 07.05.2011.


PAY SCALE AND OTHER ALLOWANCES: - Pay Scale – PB-I, Rs. 5200 – 20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2,000/- per month.


Educational Qualifications


a) 10th Class pass from recognized Board.
b) 8th class pass from a recognized Institution for S.T. Category candidates belonging to Mizoram State.


APPLICATION FEE :- The candidates belonging to General and OBC category will be required to pay Rs 50/- (Non refundable) as application fee in form of Central Recruitment Fee Stamp (CRFS)/IPO/Bank Draft in favour of “ Inspector General (North West) Frontier, ITBP, PO-Seema Nagar, Chandigarh(UT) PAYABLE AT SBI, AFS Chandigarh. Code No- 1495. No fee will be charged from SC/ST and Ex-servicemen candidates. The candidates opting for CRFS should affix the CRFS at specified space in application form and get them cancelled as well.
