Its head quarter is located at New Delhi and it provides security to more than 300 industrial units and also to nuclear installations, space establishments, airports, seaports, power plants, sensitive Government buildings and ever heritage monuments of India.

Its head quarter is located at New Delhi and it provides security to more than 300 industrial units and also to nuclear installations, space establishments, airports, seaports, power plants, sensitive Government buildings and ever heritage monuments of India.

CISF is going to conduct a recruitment to the post of Assistant Sub Inspector ( ASI ) and Head Constables ( Ministerial ) in the pay scale of Rs. 5200 – 20200/- with grade pay of Rs. 2800 /- and Rs. 2400/- respectively. Only Indian Nationals are allowed to apply for these posts latest by 25th April 2011. Candidates age limit should be between 18 – 25 years.

140 vacancies are for the post of Assistant Sub Inspector ( ASI ) and 902 vacancies are for the post of Head Constables ( Ministerial ). Minimum intermediate / 12th pass certificate is required for these posts.

For selection, candidates has to go through written exam, verification of eligibility standards, skill test, typing speed test, shorthand test and at last medical examination. For both the posts, 100 objective type questions of 100 marks has to be answered on OMR sheets of the duration of 2 hours and questions will be based on General Intelligence, General Knowledge, General English or Hindi and Arithmetic. After written test, qualified candidates will be called for verification of Eligibility Standards an then for skill test and all. At last , candidates selected in order to merit will be put through a detailed Medical examination to ascertain their fitness.
