To Join The Indian Navy As Short Service Commissioned Officers : Jan 2012 Course

Applications are invited from unmarried male candidates for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Executive Branch (General Service/Hydro Cadre) of the Indian Navy for Jan 2012 Course at Indian Naval Academy (INA) Ezhimala, Kerala. Candidates to fulfill conditions of nationality as laid down by the Government of India
Age Limit:

19 ½ to 25 years, born between 02 Jan 1987 and 01 Jul 1992; both dates inclusive.
Educational Qualifications:

* Science Graduate with Physics & Mathematics with minimum 60% marks from a recognised University.
* BE/B Tech with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in any discipline from an institution recognised by AICTE.
* Science Graduates (Physics & Mathematics) from a recognised University holding NCC Naval Wing, Senior Division ‘C’ certificate.
* Graduate/Post Graduate in Operations Analysis and Operational Research/Quantitative Methods with minimum 75% marks from recognised University.
* Graduate/Post Graduate in Mathematics, with Probability or Statistics with minimum 75% marks from a recognised University.


Pay Scale & Promotions:

The promotion from Sub Lieutenant to Commander is on time scale basis and thereafter on selection basis subject to fulfillment of requisite service condition. The Pay Scale and promotion criteria is as follows:-

* SUB LIEUTENANT: PB-3/15600-39100- 5400(GP) - 6000 (MSP)
* LIEUTENANT: PB-3/15600-39100- 6100(GP)- 6000(MSP)
* LIEUTENANT: CDR PB-3/15600-39100- 6600(GP)- 6000(MSP)
* COMMANDER: PB-4/37400-67000- 8000(GP)- 6000(MSP)
